For Outlier, the New York City Marathon isn’t simply a race.
The New York City Marathon has become one of the most meaningful stages for The Outlier Fund.
Each year, we arrive in New York with more than runners. We bring survivors, families, friends, and supporters together around a shared purpose: to raise funds, spread awareness, and remind the brain cancer community that no one has to face this journey alone.
There is something powerful about carrying the Outlier name through all five boroughs. Every mile becomes an opportunity to tell our story, honor those we run for, and introduce thousands of people to a mission they may have never encountered before.
New York also represents what Outlier is about at its core – pushing beyond what we once believed was possible. Taking something difficult and turning it into forward motion. Showing up together, year after year, and using our miles to create hope.
